Ruel Assefa is a concept artist, illustrator, and developer with over seven years of experience. His journey began in university, where an interest in making games led him to explore art.

Unable to create the visuals he imagined, he taught himself drawing, painting, and concept design. This grew into a passion for storytelling, worldbuilding, and design.

He has since worked on book covers, published illustrations, concept art for stylized TV shows, and visual effects for ads and other productions.

Ruel primarily works digitally, with a style that ranges from painterly illustrations to stylized 2D design.
